President’s MessageA Message from 2024 ICC President Kellie Streeter, Knox County CommissionerWelcome to the Indiana County Commissioners (ICC). It is an honor to be chosen to serve as the ICC President this year. Having served as Vice President of the ICC in 2023, I worked closely with my predecessor, Commissioner Mark Heirbrandt, to lead the association. As your President, I seek to build upon our accomplishments this past year to ensure the association continues to thrive. I have served as a Knox County commissioner for seven years, which has given me great perspective and knowledge that will benefit me as I serve the ICC. I can attest to the Indiana County Commissioners being essential in serving Hoosiers. The ICC prides itself on sustaining strong state-county partnerships to advocate for each Indiana county. Thank you for your membership, mentorship and participation. Your dedicated support allows ICC to provide the best possible education, leadership, support and advocacy services to Commissioners and allows our organization to strengthen Indiana county voices. The ICC successfully thrives when you get involved in membership participation. There are multiple opportunities to engage with us, such as the Annual Membership Directory which connects members with statewide County Commissioners and trusted associate vendor members. Additionally, our annual conference is a great way to network and learn alongside your peers from across the state. Stay tuned for more ways you can engage throughout the year. With every County Commissioner, County Executive and County Council member’s voice advocating, we can form strong county voices throughout the state.
